The kids were a boppin’ and I was a rockin’ at the Allergy + Free From Show in London over the past weekend. I had the privilege of performing throughout the three day expo in the Kid Zone at the Haydn’s Wish exhibit area. If you are in the U.K, I encourage you to check out Haydn’s Wish – it’s a very inspiring charity doing great work.
It was a real treat to have more laid back and informal performances then I’m used to. Performing for 400 children in a gymnasium is pretty structured as you would imagine. I got to sit on a comfy chair and do impromptu concerts whenever we had enough kids around to have some fun!
I was amazed by the sheer size of the trade show. I’m really happy that I went to get a feel for it and will definitely consider setting up a booth next year for www.allergytranslation.com to promote food allergy translation cards, as well as www.allergytravels.com.
